Deleting Gator

By adolan2 ·
I have a computer with Windows 2000 Professional. A student downloaded Gator/Precision Time/Date Manager (all of these are related). I have run the uninstall and deleted the files from the hard drive. I have also edited the registry to what I think is all references to Gator. For some reason, Gator.com keeps returning to the registry. How can I keep it out of the registry permanently?

You can also remove this manually by locating the gator folder on the c: drive and deleting the whole folder. However, gator keeps a process running, so you must locate the file in the gator folder that is running in the task manager, end the process, and then you are able to delete the folder. That rids you of the program completely.

Good luck!
