Got a couple of dell inspirons 1150 with this exact same issue. Both of them will blink every 5 seconds and get no power. I replaced the power jack, battery, cpu and ram and same problem. Even replaced the motherboard and problem still there.
Tried running the board alone with cpu, fan and ram and it does the same thing.
Anybody found a solution for this?
