I not a techi so please answer very simply. I have owned the above lap top approx 2 years. Very irritating problem has occured. When sitting with lap top on my lap the display screen dims to the point of total darkness. You can just make out shapes, but that is it. When I partially close the screen the backlight reappears but only for about 30 seconds before cutting out again. I’m thinking this could be a stability issue or is it simply overheating? The problem is much improved when the lap top is on the floor or desk – as it is as I’m writing this. Any ideas?? Many Thanks – Jayne
