    dell inspiron display

    Locked

    by indycindyl ·

I turned on my dell inspiron b130 today and the display is not full screen, there is about an inch of black border on both sides of the window. I tried changing the display in the control panel thinking it might snap out of it, but no luck. Have rebooted numerous times. The cursor won’t enter the black areas. the screen display is sort of just scrunched up if that makes sense. any ideas, probably pretty simple but i’m clueless.

Then right click on the desktop and scroll down to Proprieties and then click on the Display Tab and change the Display Settings from there. Most likely the Screen Resolution has been set too high and is causing this problem.

If that doesn’t work you can look up the owners manual here to find out how to resize the display.
