My Dell laptop Inspiron 15R DVD player I purchased 17 months ago from NewEgg does not work. It is out of warranty and I don’t know what DVD player is in the unit. I cannot recover the driver although I have the driver & utilities disk since the disk player doesn’t work. I suspect it is a driver corruption. Does anyone know how to get the DVD player to work? If the driver is corrupted how would I know which driver to get from Dell? Please help. It is run on Windows 7 64 bit.
