I’ve just started experiencing a power problem in my 2 year old Dell Inspiron 1150.
It doesn’t seem to be able to draw power from its mains adapter. The plug fits in fine and I’ve bought a replacement adapter, but to on avail. The battery has run down and it simply won’t draw more power.
STRANGEST OF ALL: When I plug the adapter into computer the green LED on the adapter fades out. If I leave the adapter unattached, the LED stays on.
Any ideas?
