Deploying MS Office over a network

Please could you provide me with weblinks (or email me instructions on gurpreet.jalf@terrysmith.co.uk) that contain instructions on how to install MS Office (versions 97-XP) over a network? Am I correct in thinking that this can be done without SMS?
