Desktop Support Metrics/Industry Standard reporting

Hello Everyone, I've been a member of TR for years. This is one of my vew posts, Im hoping someone could help me with this:

I just accepted a new position as a Regional IT Support and Services Manager, HD and desktop support. Does anyone have any " list" or caluclators for costing, benchmarking and standard metrics documents that you use regularly? I've got some myself, but they aren't "great".

I've just done some work in this space in the UK with 4 different public sector organisations. The metrics (support person:workstation) were variously 1:90, 1:200, 1:240 and 1:250. I'd be interested to know how this compares with your experience and whether you've found a more formal source of benchmarks.
