    Developing an app for rideshare drivers

    I’m looking to develop an app for Uber/Lyft drivers where they can geotag the locations they are dropping passengers off at. I want to also be able to have a map that shows a running tally of the number of passengers that have been dropped off at specific locations. Anyone want to help me get this app going? Any ideas on how I can get this started?

      Hello Zack,

      First of all, I suggest you define your rideshare business strategy before actual development. Uber and Lyft capture the market, so try to identify your niche. It could be classic long trips (from point A to point B), taxi trips or regular trips (from home to office). Moreover, think about app monetization model and how you are you going to promote your app. And after that come to the development process.

      For the development, you have 2 options: do it by yourself or hire professionals.
      But also, you should define MVP features which your rideshare app will have:

      – Status creation of the new root
      – Tracking of the drivers and passengers
      – Chat
      – Search etc.
