Devices Problem

By Mamyplease81 ·
I have a problem. I recently restarted my windows, with the windows recovery cd. It ended up deleting all my files. The problem is that I can't listen to music, videos, or even connect to the internet.
I'm assuming it's the drivers. Does anyone know how I can fix this or what do I have to download or install?

You should have more than one disc ...

Accompanying the Recovery Disc you should have at least 1 more disc, labelled 'System' or 'Drivers' or something like that.

After your Recovery Disc has run its course, you should immediately insert the 'Drivers' disc and autorun from an installer routine on THAT disc (or you can just run each installer routine one after the other).

All you have at the moment is the basic number of Drivers to have your Operating System running, but most of the functional chips have yet to be 'started' by their own Driver installations.

Look around for the other disc(s) that came with the machine.
