Dial into my office Windows for internet

By satvic ·
Hi All,

My Office WindowsXP is always on and connection to DSL.

Can you recommend the tool (or maybe it's already built into XP)? I want to dial into it from home (it does have a modem) so I can use the XP's existing ethernet to browse internet?

Windows XP remote desktop. VNC is a good program as well as PC Anywhere.

Just a few side notes.

Other than saving you the cost of having an ISP, connecting over a modem to your work PC will NOT offer any faster internet browsing than standard dial up.
Yes, the office PC has a DSL connection. However, you would be accessing it at dial up speeds.

Second, having an office PC connected to a phone line and a network is a MAJOR security risk.

Third, check your company PC and internet usage policies.
Saving $10 a month for internet service is not worth getting fired over.

Another side note.

A PC with a broadband internet connection that is connected to a network and left running is a hackers dream.

Unless the network is behind a strong firewall, I STRONGLY recommend that you shut the PC down at night.
