I have a windows 2000 desktop who has a dial up connection to an office RAS using Netbeui to direct traffic to a MSMAIL server.
The Dial up networking connectionI have set up in the Win2k box works. I put in my username and password and connect to the network fully authorized.
When I try to use this connection in Outlook 2000 MS Mail service I cannot make the connection work. I get an authorization error. It does not seem to use the username and password I set up in Win2k dial-up-networking. To get their e-mail they have to manually connect to the network using the dial-upconnection in Win2k not the one that will autodial in the MS Mail service. Any ideas?
