I have recently upgraded the Exchange server 5.5 to SP4. At the same time I applied SP6a to the NT4.0 OS. Applied two security patches. Since that time (didn’t happen before) my dialin users are having a long delay before attachments will open that are attached to the e-mail. Most if not all of these users are running OUTLOOK 2000. My only thought now is to go back and reply SP6a to NT. According to one article in 25 indispensable Echange Tips, SP6a should have taken care of this slow response,however it never happened before I upgrade to SP6a.
