Dialup at Startup for Windows 2000 Serve

by anthonymcse . Updated 23 years, 4 months ago

How can I have a Windows 2000 Server automatically dial a modem dialup account when it boots? If I put a shortcut in the All Users startup, that doesn’t run until somebody logs on, I need the dialup to be activated Prior to logging on, as I am using Remote Administrator 2.1 (radmin.com) to logon and control the computer and if my dialup hasn’t dialed, I can’t get to the server.

Somebody had mentioned that this could be done with the task sceduler, however, what program do you run to start adialup session? Somekind of rundll trick?

Thanks!

Anthony
