Difficulty Removing Password from Conten

Password was set on the Content Advisor of Internet Explorer on a workstation I have started to use.Everytime I try to access the WWW it prompts me for a password. It was set by a previous user of this workstation.I tried several things like uninstalling IE but couldn’t find IE inside Add/Remove Program from the Control Panel.I suspect IE was shipped together as a bundle with Win98.
Please could anyone offer some advice on how to solve this problem.
