Directory Export

I am using exchange 5.5. I used receipent containers to differntiate the users. I used directory export to export to a csv file. When I impport the file, the containers are not there. Is there a way to import the containers ?

You cannot import or export user-defined fields from or into other file formats choosing the Import and Export command from the file menu.For information about programming importing user-defined fields,see article Q208232

Unfortunately you are not able to import containter information. As you may know you can specify which container to import to. Suggestion is to just recreate the containers manually or either reduce your number of containers. Hope this helps. Good luck!
