We recently adopted a corporate policy requiring screensavers be passworded and set to a 5 to 15 minute window of inactivity before launching.
Approximately 1/2 of the machines “lose” the setting — it is set back to NONE. Microsoft support indicates that it is not a reported problem and that our users are setting it to none. IS staff, who are used to securing their workstations, are also experiencing the “set-back.”
Has any one else had this problem with their Windows 2000 desktops?
