Disaster Recovery

I do an online backup of the Information Store and Directory separately. I am practicing disaster recovery and since I recovered the Information Store to an offline server I cannot get the Information Store Service to start. I have the site name thesame and the computer name the same. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?
