disconnecting/reconnecting from a domain

by ppkehoe . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

ok i know that this question might be a little odd but here it goes…We have field engineers that have windows 2000 laptops but these laptops are apart of the company’s domain. Now when they have to trouble customer networks usually workgroups they are acustomed to disconnect from the our network and join there workgroup which always leaves the problem of rejoining the company network where these guys have to call in and have there computer account deleted and added again. Is there anyway to trouble shoot customer networks with out disconnecting from the company domain or a way that these field engineers can connect with out having to call into the helpdesk to get there computer accounts added again. Also why is it that they just can’t rejoin since there is already an account on the network.
