Discrete distribution lists

    Locked

    by avesha ·

Hello. I am using Outlook 2007. When I send an email to more than one recipient, such as on an email distribution list or a category list of contacts, I would like to set it up so that each individual recipient can not see all the other recipients of my email. Is there a way to do this? When I recieve spam messages, obviously loads of other people got the same message I did, yet I don’t see the list of other recipients. So how are such emails set up? (Not that I want to send spam.)

If anyone can help, I would much appreciate.

    Christine Andrew

Place all your email recipients within the address box labeled BCC – it means Blind Carbon Copy.

That way, each recipient will only see their own name in the To: field at the top of the email. 🙂
