Disk based backups

By ian ·
Hi Guys,

I am lookign at the various disk based backup solutions available at the moment but my question is in relation to off site storage.

I would like to implement a disk based backup solution for speed, continuous backup, costs etc.. but my concern is that I still need to archive a copy off site due to say a fire or vandalism. What ar you guys currently using for you off site storage medium?

Check out Mozy.com.
Or if you have your own offsite place to back up to then you can use Acronis at Acronis.com. Use the trial first then you can purchase this via my website if you chose

My customers rotate their Backup's

And constantly have the newest one transported Off Site.

But it really all depends on what is required here and if you have to comply with any rules covering Data Security in the business that you are involved in. For example Medical Records must be kept in house to meet Complicing Requirements and the same applies to many other Business Models.
