    Display tester for smartphone repairs

    by agarpichedheknatha ·

I opened a small shop in germany with me repairing smartphones.
I recently bulk ordered 100 displays for motorola g8 power i commonly repair and now i want to check if they are working or not.
There are several tester for iphone displays (Banggood Qianli etc.) but i cant find anything for any other brand of phones.
Are there any generic test devices or do i have to test them one by one with a phone?

I took a Motorola g5 to a local shop and the owner/operator gave me an earful about Motorola displays (mobile phones.)

These are indeed one of the most fragile I’ve seen in years but as you imagine the industry didn’t seem to see the need to standardize so you don’t see a lot of testers for other than Apple parts. Apple only has a few dozen displays to deal with so a tester is possible and will sell well. Mot? Unlikely. Samsung models? Maybe?
