Dlink DE250CT nic

By Rajya ·

I am using a Dlink DE250CT (ISA) network cards on my network. I am

running Windows XP Pro and Redhat linux 7.1 on some of my computers.

I understand that Windows XP does not support ISA cards at all, but is

there a way to enablelinux to recognise it? I have installed Isapnp

but have not got around to making it work for me.

Kindly help.

I'm pretty sure this card will not work with
Linux. I tried to use de-250 cards a few years
ago with no luck.

Get the cheapest Linux-compatible NIC's you can
find. The RTL 8139 chipset is used in some SMC
NIC's, and a lot of reliabe, cheap (< $20.00)
