I have setup DNS and Active Directory on a Windows 2000 Server with SP2. When I go to Event Viewer -> System Log, I have a warning (yellow exclamation mark) Event ID 5781 saying:
Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed because no DNS servers ara available.
– My prefered DNS in TCP/IP properties is the server IP address itself
The access to Active Directory works fine, the users can log on correctly and they are recorded in DNS.
