Hello,
I have two dns servers in my network, an internal and an
external one. the external is the one from my email
address coronado.k12.ca.us and the internal is domain.edu.
the problem is that i added a manual entry(host) for a
computernot in the domain in the domain.edu zone its
running IIS. but when i try to access it by the name i put
on the entry (server) instead of resolving to
server.domain.edu it goes to server.coronado.k12.ca.us. if
i type in the ip address it works fine, but its just that
entry. I added a few others for other servers and it works fine, its just
that one that is causing problems.
