  No, once you have lost your internet data then, you automatically be offline after a while.

  Your internet will be temporarily disconnected. There are some data servers however that lowers the connection speed as a reminder for subscribers that the data cap has been reached. I remember one time I was working at our office at http://www.chcagritechint.com when my connection speed slowed significantly. This was a good thing for both consumers and service providers because we still have a connection and at the same gave our organization some time to work and later settle the bills.
