Does Apple start making the older phones slower so you buy a new one?

I have an Iphone X and they just came out with the 15 and my Iphone seems to just get slower and slower even know its relatively a new Iphone. I was wondering if Apple actually starts to make the old Iphones work slower so you buy a new one?

That is just a ridiculous statement. As electronics get older, they cannot keep up with newer technologies or updates like they used to.

It’s like asking the same thing about my original Apple II computer that I got in 1977 with only 4K, expandable to 16K of RAM. Apple historically only offers 3-4 major iOS updates for most iPhones.
Just be glad you could use your iPhone X as long as you have.

Time to move on and get a newer phone if it no longer meets your needs/expectations. Life goes on, keep moving folks, nothing to see here.

Although it may seem like that, it is not true. Over time many of the older phones simply can not keep up with today’s advancing technological world. Apple takes this into accountability as well because they will make their old phones much cheaper than they were for release.
