I have always disliked the fact that we lose internet access every time the server has to be restarted.
Is it feasible, wise, or utterly foolish to even consider setting up a network where the internet would be separate (maybe wireless) from the server?
In other words, workstations would have 2 connections:
Workstations/Server – Router (wireless) – Firewall – Modem – Internet
&
Workstations – Router (wired) – Firewall (if needed?) – Server
Your advice is greatly appreciated as always! (and yes, I know, I’ve MIA from TR for quite some time)
Tink 🙂
