    Doesn’t Prompt to Save?

    Locked

    by gsteve ·

I have started using some VBA modules in my Access databases, and I notice that any time after I have used a VBA command in a database, it stops prompting me to save objects before I close them (it does save the object, but sometimes I don’t want it to).
Example: I have a button on a form with an event tied to the button. I use the button, then go into a query and change a few things in design view. I decide that I don’t want to keep the changes, so I simply close the query. Pow! The query closes, and saves the changes without even asking me.

Is this unavoidable, or is there some setting I can change so that it will always prompt me to save?

    Thanks for your help!

Are you using the ‘Event’ to Save, and recalling it throughout other functions….looked around and didnt see much on this issue….good luck!

      Hope this helps…
