Domain account locked out multiple times

A user in my domain is constantly getting their account locked out even though inputing the corect password on the logon security screen. Checked AD and account is unlocked.

Do they have any services or applications running on a server etc that could be using an old password?

Has this user moved to another desk recently?

If there are apps or mappings running under this users ID on another machine and the password changed you will see this kind of behvior. If your AD is set to reset the account after a time window then by the time you get work of the issue it is already fixed.

Check this machine for manually mapped drives or applicaions that are pointing to network resources. Also track down where where this person has been lately with regards to the PCs in the network. I'll bet you'll find it pretty quick.
