Domain Administrator account has died!

Help! Running Active Directory in native mode. All of a sudden the domain admin account is hosed! It’s as if it has lost all of its security. Can’t connect to drives with \\computername\c$ anymore. Had a failed Exchange 2000 installation this last weekend. Had to revert back to Exch 5.5. How can I get the admin account back to where it was?
