Domain Controller Caching – Lets brain storm.

Hey guys, Im new to the boards & excited about becoming a part of the community.

My question is as follows:

If I have setup a domain controller with various users, how do I ensure that the users will be able to login with cached settings if the domain controller goes down? Now I know having multiple DCs is good for redundancy, but pretending you only have one, I would think it is important that my users can login in the event of a DC going offline…

anyways… what do you guys thing of this one?
