    Domain controller crashed and AD on Backup DC wont start

    I have a network with 2 servers. The primary domain controller crashed and is out of service. Now, the active directory on the second domain controller wont start. I get the error “naming information cannot be located”. I have removed the primary DC ip address from DNS and put the server’s IP there instead. DNS services are started on the second server. I know its a DNS issue because I cant browse to the server using its FQDN, just its IP address. Please help!!
