Domain login in XP Home Edition

I was trying to configure an XP Home Edition workstation to logon to a Windows 2000 Server Domain, and was having some serious issues. I was unable to find a way to do so. Could this be because I need XP Professional Edition? The only thing I could think of is that Home Edition doesn’t support Domain logons. Could anyone help me out?
