Dos Print from Taxworks 96

I have a customer that is trying to revive tax records from 1996 by using Taxworks 96 on a NT 4 Workstation platform. The program processes the information and appears to send it to the networked printer but checking the print queue with the net print command the job never materializes. There aren’t any options in the program to change any settings for the printer. The customer was able to get the program to print before using some sort of Dos command but can’t remember what it is, I have tried several routing commands to the printer but none of them work.

try this:
Net use lpt1 /d
Net use lpt1 \\printserver\printer

Printserver is their print server an printer is the unc printer they want to use. Of course lpt1 will remain redirected until you release it or reboot.
