How do i install a Dos program on to XP

open start/run, enter cmd
this will bring you to the command prompt
you can install your dos program from here
to put a link to your dos program from your desktop, you can create a shortcut. right click on the desktop, select new, new shortcut and browse to the location of your dos program.

Use Windows XP's compatiblity wizard. I believe it's in programs, accessories. I am not home to check this right now...

You can look in Help to find out more about the compatibility wizard. It lets you install programs meant to run on earlier OS's.
