Double Clicking on folder opens the find

When I double click on a folder from the My Computer icon, the find files/folders opens instead of opening the folder into it’s own windo? How do I resolve this problem.

Basically its an association problem.
If you have another machine to compare it may be helpful. What I suggest is going to the Explorer, View Menu, Options, then select File Types, scroll down to Folder (maybe File Folder), then choose Edit, Open,Edit again and set the application to Explorer. Comparison with another machine will help.

Thanks, didn’t even think to look at the folders association. The explore, open are commands used to open the folders in their own window.
