OK, here’s the dilemma:
I have a two-column subreport in a main report that works fine with the columns set to “Across, Then Down” in the Page Setup. However, what I need to have is “Down, Then Across” with data distributed evenly across both columns.
If I…
…set the Subreport control to Can Grow = Yes, the data stays in one column even if it flows onto another page.
…set the Subreport control to Can Grow = No, then I have to set the size of the Subreport control to the maximum depth of the number of items. The problem is there will be greatly varying numbers here, this time up to 84 items (42 rows), and I don’t want to waste space.
Anyone have any ideas? This is an issue for this report and others I have, so I really need to find a solution. I’m in Access 97, by the way, but if there’s an easy fix in Access 2000, that would be a big help for me in two directions! ;-D
Thanks!
