Download problems

Whenever I start a download of a TechRepublic article, my Adobe will open briefly then the entire Window closes.

My Adobe is working fine for other PDFs

If you are using a pop-up blocker, disable it when downloading items from TR.

For the PDF files from TR, what happens if you right click on the here link in the "If your download doesn't begin automatically, please click here." on the page that opens up after clicking the download button?

Cookie settings and script restrictions can also get in the way of TR downloads.

Make sure your updates of Adobe Reader are current. You may need to select the "Download to Disk" button rather than "Open using ....." button when you try to download. Memory size can be an issue here. Or you may have a Javascript or other Acrobat plugin conflict.

If this is the only site that gives you this problem, then the problem is based on the code that downloads the PDF. Your machine has some sort of problem with that part.
