Download this Windows clustering glossar

By blundgren ·
I downloaded the Windows clustering glossary. The download was encrypted. Too clustered for my Windows at home. Since I am new to TechRepublic I would like some insight into how to decifer this download and others from your web site, if there is encryption software that I can access to decode. Thank you. It is a ZIP file

by TheChas In reply to Download this Windows clu ...

I just looked at the file I downloaded, and found no encryption.

The file is a .ZIP archive, and contains both a .DOC and .PDF version of the list.

To extract files from a ZIP archive, you need either Windows 98 with Plus! or newer Microsoft OS.
Or, a seperate ZIP program.

Many people use WinZIP.
There are full 'freeware' programs that you can download from various web sites.
I like www.nonags.com
and www.completelyfreesoftware.com

To view the .PDF version, you need Acrobat Reader from Adobe.

Thanks

Thank you for both of your replys. This is late in coming. I was frustrated by the new problem.
Busy working. Forgot I had sent the email,
received an answer and downloaded WinZip as you suggested. Appreciate your time. Thanks.
