I downloaded info from www.snagster.com. The only one that appears on my desktop is music. I also downloaded the games from playstation , burning CDs and DVD stuff. Where is it.

Depending on your web browser and version of Windows the first default folders are different.

It is NEVER a good idea to place anything but program link Icons on the desktop.

If Windows Explorer is set to hide certian types of files, the filesyou downloaded may be hidden.

Start by opening Windows Explorer.
Create a new folder to store your downloads.
I have several different folders for different types, and sites that I download from.

Now, you want to start a search for files created over the period of time that you started downloading.
Sort the list by date and time, and look for your downloaded files.
Drag then over to the new folder.

The next time you download a file, watch where the dialog box directs you to download the file.
Change the folder to your download folder.

It also helps to either save the web page with the description or program instructions.
Or, create a text file in notepad using the same name as the downloaded file so that you can remember latter what it is.

Since the music files showed up on your desktop, the other files are likely in your desktop folder.

For Windows 98, C:\Windows\Desktop

For XP, C:\C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Desktop

Also, when you drop and drag the files, click onthem with the right mouse button, and select move.
That way, the files will be moved not copied, nor have shortcuts created.
