Dreamweaver MX in Vista

By oliviakowol ·
Problems in Vista, Dreamweaver MX used to work in XP. When I click on the 'help' menu and also on the "Befehl" menu (German Software), which is problably like 'command' or 'order', the program closes itself. I wanted to go to the 'command' menu to create a web photo album. Can somebody help me please? :-)

I thought a keyboard shortcut would solve the problem temporarily. I could not find out which version I have as the help menu doesn't work, neither the F1 button. Could you find out the shortcut for me for creating web photo albums? I really appreciate your help. Thanks heaps! Olivia :-)))

Uninstall it

by Jacky Howe In reply to Dreamweaver MX in Vista

This software wasn't designed for Vista but you may be able to get it to work if you reinstall it in compatibility mode for XP.
To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the setup.exe or similar, selecting Properties from the menu.
Select the Compatibility tab:
You can choose to run the program in Windows XP compatibility mode.
