Question

Drive Encryption

By sam.parrington ·
Good Afternoon,

Globally we are starting to move all of our machines to BitLocker Encryption, however we have a few machines which are on Windows 10 Home.

From my understanding, BitLocker isn’t available on Windows 10 Home, however I need to create a work around solution.

Is there a registry edit I could adapt to enable BitLocker Encryption? Or does anyone know any other solutions which provide the same level of encryption?

I need to be able to remotely access the machines encryption process. E.G A client would be at their office and I need to be able remote onto their machine and enable/adapt the encryption

Any help would be much appreciated

Thank You

Drive Encryption

Definitely recommend backing up encryption key to Microsoft account nothing is worse than recovering or reseting your computer and having to wipe everything because you can't find your BitLocker key. Backing it up to your Microsoft account makes it simple and easy to recover. It's similar to backing up the keys to active directory in an enterprise environment. (link removed by moderator)
