So without knowing the exact model from within the following, I can't navigate the Panasonic site any further.

CF-29C/D MkI
CF-29E MkII
CF-29H/J MkIII
CF-29L/M MkIV
CF-29N/P MkV

Since there are 5 different marques, combined with 2 different OS's perhaps you've not opted for the correct combination?

When you stated "I cant seem to find the right drivers on Panasonic's website to make it work" - did you mean that the drivers you HAD found didn't work, or did you mean you couldn't FIND any drivers?

Did you try using:
'Touchpad/Touchscreen Driver [CF-29C(mk1) CF-29CTKGZK? CF-29CRKGZK]'?

What SP# of XP Pro are you running? Because the Panasonic site differentiates between Windows XP and Windows XP SP2 and this Touchscreen Driver is clearly intended for a non-SP2 system when it's installed.

I loaded XP service pack 3 . so what you are saying is that I need to strip the machine back down and install xp and then do the service pack updates after I get the touchscreen working?

CF-29 Touchscreen Drivers

by RudyC55 In reply to Drivers or software for a ...

Hi, I just bought a couple on e-bay. I went to the panasonic.com site, entered cf-29 in the search window, then support, and I registerred. Then you can download all the drivers for free. (Manually instal The Driver, or it will not find it)

HOWEVER, I put Windows 7 in my other machine which is a CF-29N series and I cannot get a sound driver or a touch screen driver to even be accepted by the OS. I downloaded the cf-30K series drivers (The only one that offered Win 7 capabilities) from the panasonic site. I could use some instruction from someone who has successfully completed this on Win 7.

Thank You
