Our challenge:
Fully saturate your SDSL link with a download, and then see if you can open an outside web page in addition to the download. (In our case, Netopia utilization > 97% was obtained by downloading Corel Linux through cnet [corellinux-oc_1.1.iso.gz from ftpx.download.com, which was selected from all download sites after canceling the default download from Finland]). Since you may not have access to utilization statistics, simply multiply the KB download speed by 9 to convert it to your Kb equivalent line speed, which should be close to your line speed (97% or better).
Report success or failure to pull up the web page, the router you were using, the ISP, and if possible, the DSLAM equipment. No bandwidth allocation software or hardware should be used.
Answer first question to get points, 500 points for first success, 500 points for first failure. If one category is lacking then points will be awarded to second answer.
