Dual Boot: Linux and Windows 2000

by anamenow . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I have 2 separate hard drives on 1 machine. c:\ has Windows 2000 on it and I tried to install linux Rehat 7.0 on d:\. To do this, I disabled c:\ in the bios and proceeded to install linux on d:\. I chose a workstation install. The install worked fine but now I cannot load back into windows 2000 (even with d:\ disabled). I think the install has altered the master boot record because the computer won’t load past the memory and drive checks. IS my c:\ still there and how do I fix the problem? Thanks
