Ive been intereseted in installing Linux on my PC and these are my first virgin steps into Linux. I was told that most packages are reasonbaly easy to install :), but lilo overwrites the MBR. Upon reading your Q&A I have gathered some insight to which way to go ie. put lilo on the linux partition etc. But is my best option to use loadlin as I want to boot my win98 as default and configure the config.sys to give menu options etc….
