You'll need to install a dual video card in the docking station. I have a Matrox G450 which works very will.

what kind of laptop? Does the DS have dual ports, maybe 1 VGA and 1 DVI port? If you have a newer laptop then the video card may be able to use dual monitors, but most likely you will need flat panels, or at least 1 flat panel.

Or you can use the display on your laptop as 1 monitor and plug a second one in. If your video card supports it, just set the multi monitor display to extend your desktop.

Or if your video card does not support dual monitors, you need to add a video card.
