1. I am experiencing problems with receiving duplicate emails via Outlook 2000. Only one email is sent but it is received two, sometimes three times and it does not happen all the time. I cannot find anything on the Microsoft site regarding this issue. I have installed service pack 2 for Office 2000 to try and correct the issue to no avail.
2. I am also experiencing a problem sending an email via Ms. Outlook to my web mail via my ISP. I get the message “No transport provider available”. However, I am able to send emails via Outlook Express with no problems with the same settings for the incoming and outgoing email servers. Have you ever seen this problem before? It’s as though Outlook is timing out or can’t connect to the SMTP server. Weare able to telnet into the SMTP server on port 25 with no problem.
