Duplicate removal in Outlook 2000

I have recently combined all my .PST files and realized after deleting the originals that I have duplicated messages many times. Also the duplicated messenges have been a problem even before I imported the new .PST files.

I know you can setup rules but making a rul that will sort and weed out duplicated messages has escaped me thus far.

What Outlook Gurus can help with this?
I have Office 2000 so it can be any possible method Excel Access Outlook?
